Pinky Fernandez

 

Santa Cruz son of parents who settled in Bariloche at the beginning of the 50s. Ernesto “Pinky” Fernandez grew up in the mountains.
From an early age he discovered the secrets of this sport in the hands of passionate teachers and the warmth of family Bariloche Ski Club.
Ski and Sports as part of competition from an early age, first
Junior Team arrived, later the Regional Team until he was finally selected to be part of the Argentine Team of Competition. Which opened the door and allowed him to learn skiing in all its international dimensions.

 

Reaches the impasse of the university, study in Buenos Aires,  took him away some time on the slopes, but (gave) him a diploma in Public Relations and Communications, which then used to reintegrate back into this sport from the side of the  teaching and training as a coach.

 

Pinky Fernandez

National Ski Instructor, and then continue their training as Professor and Course Examiner.
Serves as professor of the Argentine Army, Professor and Examiner Course of the Association of Ski Instructors of Argentina, before being appointed Professor at the National Institute of Sports.

 

 

Training courses conducted at the University of Skiing (Bundessportheim) in St. Christoph, Austria.
Course equivalency for education in the region of Trentino-Italy.
Taught Ski schools in  Italy-Spain-Switzerland-Austria-United States and Canada.

 

Pinky Fernandez

Was selected and joined the Argentinean Demonstration Team that represented the country at the international largest event in Technical and Educational aspects. Canada 1987-Austria 1992-Japan1995 and Switzerland 2003. Was the head coach of the last team to represent Argentina in Korea 2007.

 

 

Today brings all his experience and knowledge to serve differentiated ski teaching in both sides: to the general public as a recreational activity, as well as coaching technical and competition aspects.

His interpretation of holistic and integral education, putting human being above any other predetermined learning schemes, gave him excellent results in the learning process of this wonderful sport!
