Intelligent Skiing
A different view of the relationship between internal efforts made by a skier, the invaluable source of energy generated by movements in a curvilinear plane and the proper use of the senses as censors links in order to optimize muscle activity and consequently, energy savings, without adversely affecting the quality or quantity of the desired objective.
It is simply to exploit all or part of the magnitude of external forces acting during displacement of the skier. Allowing in this way that a share of the effort required to achieve the objective, is provided by external agents, thus preventing skiers perform 100% of the expenditure of energy.
At this point I would make a parallelism and the gap with some martial arts and particularly in Aikido, which uses the opponent's strengths, to their advantage, either to increase the momentum, or redirect it, achieving this way the desired result with less effort.
The Aikido could be described as an effective, harmonious and consistent path of the dominant flow of energy.
In our case we use the technique of compensation that says every action is done in an efficient and progressive way, using external energy.
Aikido uses a technique that begins with square, triangular and finishes continuous circular movements, for these causes fluidity. (See Technical).
In the case of the Compensation Technique semi-circles
Displacements (curves) are essential for the development of external forces that are generated and which takes advantage.
Aikido can be translated as the way of harmony with energy.
The technique of compensation with their particular maintenance of constant load undoubtedly brings energy harmoniously all along the curve.
In both cases: Aikido and Technique of Compensation, controlled energy, but it is not blocked.
Finally, both are permanently nourish the feeling of action.
When the external energy makes contact with our body, it affects us and penetrates producing the experience of sensation.
When our energy flows out, is the experience of action.
Part of the "Smart Skiing" then lies in the use of existing external impulses.
The other part is how the dosage is raised once the objective is determined. Intended to seek efficiency and economy as a result of movement.
And there is where the senses are particularly important.
Sight, as a fundamental factor to predetermine the course, anticipates of the reaction, allowing the skier to the proper compensation trends in space and time.
Touch, as a receptor of the snow-skiing interaction, turning primarily to the feet, muscles and skin, censors vital.
The ear, primarily as beneficiary of the state of equilibrium.
The senses as the censors, is where all the information needed are, to stay in a state of dynamic equilibrium, constant load and the optimum use of external forces as a foreign agent that provides part of the necessary impulse for moving from one curve to the other.(Inertial force)
This simple principle of efficiency, but at the same time as significant, has direct impact on the winter activity:
-From the aspect of fun and learning, to save energy allows to ski longer which allows more practice, and therefore faster results.
-From the security aspect, skiers less tired, no doubt reduce the risk of accidents and / or injury.
-From the aspect of the qualitative results, can be achieved goals witch would even impossible to achieve, only have internal impulses generated by the skier.
And finally, all these aspects together influence in the tourism industry, as they make people ski longer, learn faster, it hurt less and be able to achieve remarkable benefits.
It is an invaluable source for the growth of the activity.
It was once said that the Passion and Reason “sleeping in different rooms”.
We think not, it's just a passion for skiing that has motivated us to try to develop a clever technique, so generous that allows beginners and experts, children as old people, beginners to competition, as athletes from the World Cup , achieved its best results without the need for maximum effort themselves.
